Overlooking the Camel Estuary and situated in seven acres of stunning Cornish countryside near Padstow, The Pickwick Inn (named after Charles Dickens’ association with the area) is regularly described as ‘excellent’ and ‘fantastic’ by its customers.
The business has been owned and run for the last 36 years by Eddie and Jenny Stanton and includes Oliver’s Restaurant. When the time came to re-upholster seating in the bar area, it was important to choose a company that understood the pub’s ethos.
“We wanted to retain our new-meets-old-feel and chose a leather and tartan fabric combination to achieve that,” said Natalie Moore. “It was a big decision for us but Penwith made the whole process so much easier by understanding what we wanted from the start. Their knowledge and experience filled us with confidence too.
“The refurbishment was delivered on-time and on-budget and we’re delighted with the workmanship.”
